U.K. Supreme Court Sides with Christian Bakers in Gay Marriage Cake Dispute

Just when you thought Christian bakers were out of the news for good, a story from across the pond has reignited the debate over religious freedom and LGBT rights. The U.K. Supreme Court has ruled that two devoutly Christian owners of a bakeshop in Belfast were justified in refusing to bake a cake for a local gay rights activist.

Student Expelled From Christian College for Being Gay

Gary Campbell was taken aback when he received word from Clark Summit University that he was being kicked out of the school, despite being just 6 credits shy of graduating. Apparently, officials at the small Christian college in Pennsylvania discovered a secret which led to their decision to dismiss him: Campbell is gay.

Jeff Sessions Announces Religious Liberty Task Force

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has announced the creation of the “Religious Liberty Task Force,” a new body under the Department of Justice intended to guard against violations of religious freedom. The task force will focus primarily on promoting religious liberty, but critics warn that it crosses the line between separation of church and state.
