A former CIA spy claims he knows where the Ark of the Covenant is. And you’ll never guess how he found it.
The spy worked on the top secret Stargate Project throughout the 1980s, a government initiative to investigate paranormal phenomena – and more importantly, their military applications. The project's primary focus was the possible use of psychics and mediums.
The Stargate Project was disbanded in 1995 after spending $20 million in taxpayer funds, concluding that psychic abilities like remote viewings and premonitions have no scientific proof.
...Or so they say.
Fast-forward to today: Major Ed Dames, who worked on the project as a "CIA seer", claims that not only are his psychic abilities real – but that they’ve led him to the Ark of the Covenant.
What is the Ark of the Covenant?
The Ark of the Covenant is one of the most important and sought-after artifacts in all of known religious history. Biblical tradition dictates that the Ark itself is a chest approximately 52”x31”x31” in dimension made entirely of acacia wood and covered in gold. Its lid (called the “Seat of Mercy” featured two golden statues of cherubim (the same kind of angel said to guard the entrance to the Garden of Eden).
It was said to have been built by Moses on Mount Sinai per the explicit instructions of God to house other holy relics – most notably the stone tablets on which the Ten Commandments were written, but also the purportedly miraculous walking stick used by Moses’ brother, Aaron, a jar of anointing oil, and a golden pot of manna.
Tradition holds that the Ark was a tremendously powerful vessel, and it is described in the Bible as being the catalyst for several miraculous events - it could purportedly part rivers, cause plagues, and level city walls. It is also believed that God spoke directly to people on Earth through the gilded lid, and various kings of Israel were said to have consulted with God via the Ark prior to military battles.
Jewish tradition states that the Ark vanished in 685 BCE during the Babylonian sack of Jerusalem. Though there are countless theories of where it went and what happened to it – no reliable evidence exists for the Ark after this date. Where’s Indiana Jones when you need him?
The Ark Uncovered?

Maj. Dames says his ability to remote view led him to the Ark. Think of it as concentrated clairvoyance. During a remote viewing session, the seer is allegedly able to "see" distant objects, people, or events through paranormal means. During a session, the seer achieves a transcendental state of relaxation akin to meditation, focusing only on their subject. If the session is successful, the object will appear in their mind's eye. Since leaving the service, Maj. Dames has been conducting remote viewing sessions with students, hoping to teach them the art of psychically leaving their bodies.
But he’s also been conducting some sessions of his own.
Last year, he began searching for the Ark using his supposed powers. As a result, Maj. Dames says he now knows where it is. During a remote viewing session, he says the Ark’s location slowly crystallized. “I'm inside a dark place, and I feel very insecure because there’s a feeling that I can’t describe. Never felt it before, and it scares me,” he stated, narrating his mental journey towards the Ark’s location. “I’m inside some type of a stone tunnel, and there’s an object, and the object is boxy and it’s heavy and dense.. It’s dark, I’m still a little bit antsy, but I am still in control of my unconscious.”
Via his psychic abilities, Maj. Dames slowly discovered the Ark’s resting place: The Cave of the Patriarchs.
The Cave of the Patriarchs
The Cave of the Patriarchs, otherwise known as the Sanctuary of Abraham, is a cave system just south of Jerusalem. Religious tradition holds that the caves were purchased by Abraham as a burial plot, and the Cave of the Patriarchs is considered a holy site in all Abrahamic faiths.
Could the Ark of the Covenant be buried deep under the final resting place of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob?
Dames says yes. Given that he believes the Ark is buried deep underneath the holy cave – and public access is forbidden to the cave anyway – it seems unlikely any excavation could ever be greenlit, despite the pinpoint accuracy Dames says his visions have.
Perhaps that’s for the best? We all remember what happened in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Are Psychics Real?
What do you think about these claims? It’s a pretty outlandish theory, but Dames was confirmed to be involved in a military project studying this exact phenomena. Critics might say that psychic visions are just an expression of what we want to be true – rather than a real power to be harnessed.
But is it possible that this man does indeed have some sort of second sight, and he actually did locate a biblical relic which has been sought after by everyone from kings, biblical scholars, and scientists for nearly 1,500 years?

Psychicso are all charlatans who scam people out of money and or memories of loved ones it's all a set up

I find it rather convenient that they can’t be validated through investigation… curiouser and curiouser, said Alice.

I used to listen to the Art Bell show in the 90s and I remember this guy Ed Dames. Was always fascinated by Art's interviews with the guy. Dames definitely believes what he's saying about Remote Viewing.
Finding something is holding something. Where he says it is, you'll not be going to take a peek. Islamists will not allow for it.

SoJ: I loved Art Bell ! He was always courteous and tolerant of all varieties of crackpots. Wish his kind was still interviewing instead of the New Angry and Argumentative.

For sure bh, he gave all his guests the microphone. It was theirs and he didn't disparage.
Was he not the king of funky news!!!??

I also remember this guy from the old Art Bell show. He talks a good talk but it's all nonsense. Can't think of a single thing he got right with his remote viewing crap.

I believe he knows where it is as much as I believe it is a box lost in a government warehouse after Indy recovered it from the Nazi's.
I will believe it when it actually is found, not when someone wanting his 15 minutes of fame claims he knows where it is.

It's right next to the golden plates for the book of Mormon.

Ha! Good one! Didn't Smith give them back to the Angel Macaroni? Who would return "30 to 60" pounds of gold to anyone but a gun-toting madman?

There are people that have some abilities that the average do not have. They are more focused or tuned in to a channel most are too distracted to ever discover. Deep meditation is a prime example, hypnotism and the spirit world yet another. If it doesn't come naturally, it can be developed by forced self discipline. It is much easier to achieve the younger you are and must be frequently practiced. That said, many people think and believe they are psychics just as many think they are witches because they bought a doormat that says they are. Between the ages of 10 and 12 I practiced astral projection and had a spirit guide that showed me more than I needed to know. It took a long time to close that door and things still creep through at times. Is it real, yes it can be. Many proclaimed psychics are hustlers with some that get caught up in their own act. The few real ones are are not constantly turned on, they can't be or they'd lose touch with the current reality we are all familiar with. My personal experience tells me you must have a destination to travel, but I never used it to find things.

Robert,
I don't doubt the things you've said. There's something happening behind the veil and we just can't peer through very well or at all. I feel that there are those of us unwilling to even see the veil at all. Those that can see the veil risk going down their own rabbit hole straight into madness from attempts to peer beyond it.
I always felt that opening your mind to what's beyond the veil could be an All Welcome doormat to enter our minds but it doesn't have to be.
Interesting perspective.

Odd that you mention madness. Until you've stood at the very edge of it and experienced the allure of it's warm embrace, knowing that if you succumb you can never come back. That is an extraordinary experience. As for the veil, you can see quite clearly through it. But it exists for a reason, we don't belong there.

In the old testament many references to them, soothsayers , was normally the name given to them. Saul disguised himself for information concerning his life cause he wouldn't listen to the profit that annoyed David as king.

Wow! Lots of negative comments. I make no judgement because God has not stopped working insights given to any individual of his making and choice. I do not say this is true nor do I say it is false. I do find it interesting that the perceived location is related to the burial sights of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I would expect that the burial of the Ark of the Covenant will be in an area where denial for excavation exists. Remember God knows the future and how this Holy Ark could be hidden knowing full well another spiritual system would have ownership of the location. I wonder if those who were so negative in his or her remarks negate that the Garden of Eden exists and that the assigned angels keep us from finding its location? It does take prayer and discussion with God to distinguish those who are false or true prophets. We must be careful to still be open to God as He may or may not reveal more to us currently.

Peggyann, I know where a big bag of gold is buried right near your house. I'll tell you where for fifty bucks.

-
But we have known where it was for quite awhile.

I do indeed believe Mr. Ed has knowledge most do not; he knows how to bilk money from the gullible. I wonder how much he charges to "teach" his BS.
-
Back in the 90s it was like 2400 bucks to learn remote viewing out in California. Allegedly passed time wasn't a constraint, they could peer back in time.

Since the ark disappeared during the Babylonian capture in 586BC, how did the author determine that the ark has been sought after for1500 years--more like 2600. BTW the ark is in a crate in a government warehouse in Washington, DC.
Okay, so it is buried where excavation is prohibited, and like all the rest, cannot be proven. I wonder will there ever be any provable facts to come from all of this fiction? I don't mind faith, but please stop proclaiming it as fact until you have real facts. As far as psychics are concerned, I would chalk most of that up to over imagination. There may be a time when the human brain will be unlocked, but we are a very long way from there.
